White Stallion / Pale Horse

You think you know me very well
I can see your admiration
Everyone else can tell
You think I have not a flaw
But reality’s not perception
There’s what you never saw
You’ve know me since our youth
Through triumph and rejection
Now hear the dormant truth
Your picture of me is an unflawed you
Unconscious self projection
I’m not who you thought you know
Your eyes have not completely lied
You’re created a work of art
This sculpture is inside
You must strip away the clay
That covers your growing heart
And, your true self, display
