Left Alone
If your loved one leaves you, and you feel like your life no
longer has meaning; that is exactly why they left you. For why would one desire to be a part of a
life which is meaningless without their presence?
The Void
One must first love themself, in both mind and body, before
they can, in good conscience, love another.
When there is a deficiency of love for the self, one requires others to
fill that hole with the love that they offer.
While they may be willing, this pressure to do so is an unfair
expectation for anyone. If one doesn’t
love their body, one seeks those who will love their body; if one doesn’t love
their spirit, one seeks those who will love their spirit.
The Challenge
Love should be a competition. One should try to love another more than that
person loves themself. Like all
competition, the level of gratification coincides with level of challenge.
